The cotton edging makes it a little more summery and casual. This is a beautiful jacquard brocade fabric with a slight shimmer, and fully lined. Maryclaire is a 12 14 and is modeling the 1x. I chose to size up from the xl so it didnt bug around the hips. Otherwise, fits true to size.
