which seems odd but I confirmed with a few canteen collectors that 43 WAL made canteens can have this as it was a transitional period for markings

Empty Photo Album campsite New old stock vintage WWIIPeriod empty unused photo album. It is in OK condition. There is wear and tear along the edges and rust on the grommets. It has some staining discoloration. Some of the spider web papers between the black pages are missing. There is tearing along the spine on the inside but it is still held together. It measures about 9 1 2" by 6 3 8".
