Antique Sheffield Bowie Ebony 4 3/8" blade of 016 7 8" blade of carbon steel, 10 7 8" overall length One piece nickel silver hilt and handle wrap Checkered bone scales with domed nickel silver pins Includes original leather belt sheath with nickel silver throat and tip Dates to between 1840 and 1901, excellent condition (there is staining and scratching on the blade, a ding on the butt end of the handle, and the scales show some shrinkage)
