Inside there is the inscription 'Standphast goldoid ' a gold coloured alloy that limits tarnishing - all the go back in the day

Here we have an original signed unframed watercolour called "Snow Calling"

they were convinced it would only be a local hit

As I write this and look at this lovely piece it ticks away and just that sound transports you back over 100 years - when things were somewhat slower  and well -quite different to today that' s for sure
