The area around the bridge has changed significantly over the past couple of years

In the summer of 2012 there were a small number of locations in Colorado putting on firework shows

Using the conditions I spent a good amount of time photographing from the shoreline and capturing the mood

Located along (and in) the City Pond

The soft light from the clouds allows for the cathedral to be evenly lit and the sky provides a nice background which helps the stand out on its own

The Red Forest Size:18"x24" The area around the bridgeUnderneath the Millennium Bridge is a sculpture by Australian artist Konstantin Dimopoulos. I first noticed this piece just after it was installed and made a point to go back and check it out when I was in the area again. Playing with some camera motion to bring out the lines of the sculpture was my inspiration in this photograph.
