The helmet has had a green camo pattern applied along with an original WW2 small mesh cam net fitted

it is soft and pliable

There appears to be some mildew markings along the left side

It is identical to British web para type

US FS #84 It is retained with twoUS FS #84 The shell is an original WWII McCord Radiator with a front seam, stainless steel band and swivel bales. The heat stamp is 1017A. The outer retains 75 80% of its original factory paint and texture. The inner was a bit daggy; it was stripped to bare metal, primed and painted in olive drab mainly to protect the cover and liner. There is no rust. A new OD3 chinstrap set has been fitted. The liner is an original WW2 high pressure type
